On June 30, in the format of an open dialogue, with the participation of the deputy director of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute Victoria Petrashenko, another meeting of the guarantor of the educational and scientific program “Biology” Professor Valentina Bumeister and members of the working project group with applicants of the specialty 091 Biology and Biochemistry was held.
The participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the content of educational disciplines, both theoretical and practical, as well as the organization of training, the procedure for preliminary defense and defense of dissertations. Valentyna Bumeister noted the achievements of the recipients in education and conducting scientific research, invited them to more actively participate in evaluating the effectiveness of the program itself, as well as cooperation, in particular, in forming a vision of its development prospects. Garant reminded about the possibilities of forming an individual learning trajectory for applicants through studying the relevant disciplines of the selective component, using the advantages provided by dual education and participating in academic mobility programs.
The awardees expressed their opinions on the mentioned issues, identified the main difficulties they had to face in the process of studying and conducting scientific research, and offered their vision of ways to improve the quality of education under the educational and scientific program.
In the end, Valentyna Bumeister emphasized the significance and productivity of the dialogue that took place, because such direct interpersonal contact provides an opportunity for a fruitful exchange of thoughts and emotions in the system of relations between the guarantor of the educational and scientific program, members of the working project group, teachers of the support group and applicants.
