From September 7 to 9, 2023, at the invitation of the Slovak Anatomical Society, Associate Professor of the Department of Morphology, Ph.D Natalia\u00a0 Hryntsova took part in the international conference “Morphology 2023” (54th International Congress of Anatomy, 59th Symposium on Histochemistry). The conference was held in the city of Martin (Slovakia) and was organized by the Czech and Slovak Anatomical Societies, the Czech Society of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry and took place on the basis of the Department of Histology and Embryology of Comenius University in Bratislava, Essenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin.<\/p>

Hryntsova N. made a poster presentation “Adaptive rearrangements of rat’s pineal gland astrocytic glia after long-term exposure to heavy metal salts” in which she presented to foreign colleagues the results of her own research as part of the completion of work on her doctoral dissertation. In addition to participating in plenary sessions, Hryntsova N. also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Department of Histology and Embryology of the Yessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, one of the best universities in Slovakia. Together with Czech and Slovak colleagues-morphologists, the most urgent problems of teaching histology, cytology and embryology were discussed, as well as their latest technical developments regarding distance teaching of the subject.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
